An Angry Kabogo Breaks Silence After Ruto's Supporters Disrupted Raila Odinga's Speech in Meru

Video clips doing rounds on social media capture an unfortunate moment during Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga's high profile visit to Mt Kenya east region, a tour that has lasted more than a day with Raila meeting residents of Meru, Tharaka Nithi and Embu counties.

During one of his rallies, deputy president William Ruto's Supporters chanted down ODM party leader Raila Odinga with Ruto chants, briefly disrupting his speech in an incident that left many kenyans reacting.

And now, former Kiambu county governor William Kabogo has finally come out to break his silence on the contentious matter. Kabogo who was visibly angered as he responded to a question on a K24 TV interview reiterated that what happened was very unfortunate.

He says that those kind of actions, be it if they were spontaneous or organized by rival politicians, are backward and must be condemned in the strongest terms possible. He says that everyone should feel free to move around the country.
