Hon. Isaac Mwaura has recently received the wrath of Kenyans after his post. Mwaura said that political leadership in Kenya is an invitation to piecemeal-ism, tokenism, and a hand out culture for short term political mileage without solving the real problems that Kenyans are facing. He added that long-term visioning institutionalization and the momentum needed to leapfrog the country into a developed economy are lost every 5 years since a new set of leaders overlook old projects for new ones and this is now leading to loss of resources both human and capital.
However, angry Kenyans reacted to his remarks and some told him that he too believes in tokenism and handouts and that is great reason why he joined a party that supports that. Others told him that he should stop lecturing them as there are no any good track records that he has concerning his leadership. They claimed that he has not made any difference to the lives of many Kenyans.
