BBI Will Be Back After The Elections, Otiende Omollo Reveals (Video)

Otiende Omollo has not yet believed that the Building Bridges Initiative has been completely compelled even by the highest court in the country. While in Parliament on Thursday, the legislator told his fellow MPs that BBI is not dead forever like they think but will be back after the August general elections.

I guess that is if the Azimio team wins since they can not bring it back during the reign of another party's government. Not only Omollo has said such a thing after the ruling but many more legislators allied to Raila Odinga and president Uhuru. Even though the Chief Justice said the Initiative was unconstitutional, they still have hopes of making it a reality one day.

"Mr speaker, because the Supreme Court decision seems to excite a number of members especially those who don't understand the law like honourable Sankok. Allow me to inform honourable Sankok that contrary to his celebration, he should be mourning because out of the seven fundamental points, the Supreme court allowed five grounds. Of fundamental importance it has set a stage for reggae to resume immediately after the elections," Otiende told the members of parliament on Thursday evening.
