IEBC Announces Date for Bungoma By-Election

Today, Thursday October 6, Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) makes huge announcement by gazetting a by- election in Bungoma to replace FORD Kenya party leader, Moses Masika Wetangula and Bungoma Senator.

FORD Kenya party leader, Moses Masika Wetangula was elected to represent speaker of the national assembly and he is deputies by Uasin Gishu Women Representative in National Assembly, Gladys Boss Sholei.

Independent Electoral Boundaries (IEBC) has officially gazetted Bungoma senatorial seat vacant to allow a by-election to be conducted for his position to be filled. Wetangula resigned and faces off the former speaker of National Assembly, Kenneth Marende who was being sponsored by Azimio team.

Wetangula trounced Kenneth Marende to become the next speaker of the National Assembly of Kenya to succeed Justin Muturi who was appointed by president Ruto so become Attorney general.
