Lawyer Nelson Havi Defends DP Ruto Hours After Being Heckled In Laikipia County

The Tanga Tanga faction of Jubilee Party of Kenya that is fully behind Deputy President William Samoei Ruto has been racing against time in efforts to popularize their United Democratic Alliance party since it is a new political fold.

At the same time, the brigade has been drumming support for Ruto's 2022 presidential bid and his Bottom-Up economic model. They have been doing this by engaging with the people from all corners of the country in political rallies.

Today, the brigade took its Bottom-Up economic model campaigns to the county of Laikipia. The DP was in the company of a number of leaders such as MP Rigathi Gachagua (Mathira), Senator Kinyua (Laikipia), Cate Waruguru (Women Representative Laikipia), just to name but a few.

At one point the DP lost his cool when a section of people started heckling him while he was speaking. Angry Ruto told them to respect his rally. This brought about mixed reactions from Kenyans on social media.

Political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi who is a top critic of Ruto was also not left behind. He took to his Twitter page to react and termed Ruto to be a temperamental person.

Lawyer Nelson Havi who recently join UDA and is interested in contesting for the Westlands parliamentary seat defended DP Ruto hours after the heckling.

"I have not heard any of the words “stupid” or “Kiraitu” drop from the DP’s mouth. Similarly, there is no anger in his tone. You guys have depleted your stock of fear and are now vending and peddling lies to informed masses. Fortunately, no one is buying or taking your wares. ^NH" He wrote.
