
Deputy President Elder Son Nick Ruto on Saturday caught Kenyans by surprise with his traditional wedding at his home in Karen.
The event which was an invite only as expected was graced by powerful and influential Kenyans including politicians.
Nick Ruto married his long time girlfriend Evelyn Chemtai. The two have managed to keep their relation under water for the longest time.
Deputy president William Ruto and his wife Mama Rachel led in the colorful celebrations.

Among the attendees included Meru governor Kiraitu Murungi, Turkana Governor Nanok among other leaders.
Nick Ruto has finally commented on the event for the first time stating that the event was a success and he has finally found himself a wife.

In a statement on Facebook, Nick wrote a message of gratitude to all those who graced the function.
"Yesterday, we met our families as culture demands. She said Yes, I said Yes, They said Yes, We said Yes. Special thanks for your support and prayers. Evelyne 💍 Nick," he stated.
