Law society of Kenya President Nelson Havi has sparked reactions online after commenting on a Thursday Morning incident where former Sports cabinet Secretary Rashid Achesa was caught on Camera Slapping an IEBC official.
Penning his thoughts in a post on his Twitter page on the issue, Havi said that Achesa is a Boxer and a former minister of Sports and questioned what Kenyans expected him to do.
"We hope the great Lawyers of this Country will send you out of that office when the time is right." A comment read.
"And on a serious note; So Echesa should just watch @IEBCKenya aid and abet electoral crime, under close supervision of @NPSOfficial_KE then report, to who again?" A comment read.
"When was Rashid a boxer. You guys bought the Jubilee's Pr shenanigans?" A comment read.
"Being a boxer and a one time minister does not warrant him the authority to assault an individual however pissed he was. And this sentiment coming from POLSK who ought to be the one defending aggrieved Kenyans, its absurd." A comment read.
"Apeleke hizo Nguvu zake kwa Boxers wenzake. Civil Servants in The Execution of their duties Must Not be harassed or threatened by anybody." A comment read.
"The problem with Kenya is,not many were good students of literature to understand sarcasm. Some here believe you are endorsing violence. Beware of your audience." A comment read.
"This is a pathetic comment and not funny. A whole president we support making such a comment in this period...nkt" a comment read.
"He has shown why he is brawn rather than brain. Hopefully Mr. POLSK you are just describing who he is, rather than demonstrating covert support for what he did." A comment read.
