After a successful visit of the Western counties yesterday 8th October, the former prime minister and ODM party leader Raila Odinga is yet again planning to visit two counties; one in Rift valley and one in Mt Kenya to continue drumming up support for his Azimio la Umoja initiative.
Odinga will be visiting Nakuru and Nyandarua counties respectively. Both the counties have been termed as Ruto's strongholds and Odinga will be trying to counter Ruto's claim to these regions. This visit comes even after Odinga announced yesterday that he yet to decide if he'll be in the ballot or not.
Odinga said he will announce his presidential candidature officially come next month. Deputy president William Ruto has since been receiving warm welcome and it's time to see if Odinga will reciprocate and attract as much crowd.
Among the leaders expected to accompany Odinga is Nakuru county Governor Lee Kinyanjui,Kiambu governor, Nyoro among others.
