Today,Kenyans are celebrating the inauguration of the fifth president of Kenya President William Samoei Ruto. The historic event took place at the Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani where leaders from all over the world attended and the spectacular moments were captured between the former President Uhuru Kenyatta and President William Ruto.

Former Meru County Senator Mithika Linturi was among the Kenya Kwanza leaders from Mt. Kenya that attended the historic event. Moments later, the politician was seen shaving his white beard. Sources had it that he had promised to shave the beards after the inauguration of President William Ruto. 

President William Ruto during his tour on Sunday, where he had attended the interdenominational service in Maua, Meru county, promised the residents that he would share the presidency with the former Senator.
