Major Boost For Raila as ODM Receives Defectors From Other Parties in Kisii County(Photos)

Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga is determined to form the next government after President Uhuru Kenyatta's retirement in 2022.

Raila has been vocal and has been touring various parts of the country to mobilize support for his bid to form the next government after Jubilee.

The 2022 Presidential hopeful has today received a major boost in his quest to form the next government after ODM party received defectors from other parties in Kisii County.

As Kisii County Gvn James Ongwae, Sen. Prof. Sam Ongeri and County Woman MP Sen Janet Ongera opened new party offices in Kisii, they also received a number if defectors into the party.

The defectors have pledged to rally behind ODM party leader Raila Odinga's presidential bid and mobilize residents to join the party in the ongoing party registration.

"It was a beehive of activity in Kisii County today as local party leadership led by Gvn @JamesOngwae, Sen. Prof. Sam Ongeri & County Woman MP @SenJanetOngera opened the new party office in Kisii town as well as receiving into the party defectors from other political parties," ODM wrote in a statement.
