Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is the incumbent president of uganda having seized power in 1986. He is the only remaining dictator in the East Africa region.
President Museveni is campaigning for another term in office but is facing stiff competition from NUP presidential candidate Mr. Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi wine. Bobi wine is a popular musician and a first time member of parliament representing kyadondo East Constituency.
According to President Yoweri Museveni, he has commissioned a big market in Soroti that can end up creating close to 3,000 jobs for the residents.
"I have commissioned the Soroti Main Market. This new market has 1,390 facilities, including stalls and retail stores, and is expected to create about 3,000 jobs for residents of Soroti, along the local trade and supply chain." Tweeted Yoweri Museveni. 
That is a big move that will strengthen his support in the region ahead of the coming election.
