The top most known leaders missed out in the Kamukunji where Raila held up his meeting after he had conducted the rallies. The former Gatanga MP had vowed that he was not going to miss out in the Kamukunji to campaign against president Ruto's policies but he was absent. Other leaders from the party of Jubilee the leading ones like Sabina Chege and EALA nominee Kanini Kega were not did not attend the meeting.
From the side of Nairobi county woman representative, Esther Passaris, Dagorreti North MP, Beatrice Elachi and Westlands MP, Tim Wanyonyi did not show up in the meeting. The meeting held in Naivasha two weeks ago, governors had agreed to lead the charge in efforts to put pressure on Ruto to fulfill his promises he had pledged people during the campaigns. “It was a big show off shame for those who attended Raila's meeting," protested one of Raila's allies.
