Former cabinet secretary for Agriculture Mwangi Kiunjuri who is a strong ally of deputy president William Ruto has in the last few weeks been in loggerheads with him after the deputy president insisted that they should disband their parties and join the United Democratic Alliance.

Mwangi Kiunjuri with his party, The Service Party (TSP) together with Gatundu South member of parliament Moses Kuria with his Chama Cha Kazi (CCM) have stood on their ground and declined to disband their parties. Mwangi Kiunjuri since the misunderstanding has always been warning deputy president to stop thinking that he has won over Mount Kenya votes.

While speaking in a funeral today, Mwangi Kiunjuri has insisted that if one is seeking Mount Kenya votes must ensure he or she promises to change the constitution to accomodate the one man one vote one shilling as recommended by the BBI because it gives the region's rightful share, he has told Ruto to stop cheating Kenyans that the bill was all about creating positions, here is the link;
