Reports reaching our studio have revealed that several politicians from Nyanza have defected to the United Democratic Alliance party. This they have said is to help promote national unity and end the tribal differences in the country. This was announced to the public on Tuesday during a press conference.
The three politicians that have made clear their intentions of joining Kenya Kwanza include Okoth Obado, Jack Ranguma and Evans Kidero. They said that they are ready to work with the ruling government to deliver on their development projects.
Cleophas Malala, the secretary general of the UDA party then said that there is need for the country to have a common party which will address the needs of all Kenyans.
"We cannot have Kenya A and Kenya B. Neither can we have part of the country left behind while fixing the country.” he said.
Do you think the decision of these three will have an effect on Raila Odinga's party? Share your thoughts in the comments section below. Follow the page for more news updates daily.
