The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) announced Sakaja as the winner of the election for governor of Nairobi on August 9.

Sakaja told locals on Tuesday, August 16, that he will 'get it done' when business owners reiterated the pledge, Nation said.

To lessen the burden on business owners who must get various licenses, Sakaja vowed in his manifesto to provide a single business permit.
