Political campaign continues to dig deep with Deputy President William Ruto planning to visit the Western region.
Deputy President will be visiting Sirisia Constituency in Bungoma County on Friday, 17th September. On the following day, Saturday, 18th September, he will be at Malava Constituency in Kakamega County.
It has not taken long since the ODM party leader Raila Odinga visited Kakamega region and already Ruto is out to challenge him. This means that the two are competing against each other. We can argue out that Ruto is now going to visit Western Region because Raila did. If this is the case then we can predict that his next campaign will be in the central region where Raila visited on 15th September.
However, DP Ruto's visit to Bungoma will be seen as a big boost to Dr. Boni Khalwale who is eyeing to unseat the outgoing Kakamega County Wicklife Oparanya.
Some of the reactions towards this are as follows.
HESBON said: “He only goes to areas where he has friendly MP's that's his character, if he happens to be president (God forbid) and you didn't vote for him or his candidate forget about development. Have you ever seen him in Mvita Constituency or Alego usonga?”
Samson Ayiera wrote: “Mheshimiwa you claim to have the number of MP in parliament, why couldn’t you use that number to table a bill to shoot down."
