Deputy President William Ruto and his Tangatanga flock have suffered the very first blow after President UhuruKenyatta's recent political step.
It has now emerged that a section of Mt Kenya youths who were singing Tangatanga and hustler movement narrative has already switched gears.
The youths are now fully supporting the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI). This comes a few days after President Uhuru Kenyatta camped in the region and preached the BBI message to them, a mission that is already delivering magic.
Many youths in Mt Kenya were allegedly against the BBI, forcing Senator Irungu Kang'ata to write a letter to the President, advising him the initiative was most likely going to flop, a letter that eventually landed him in trouble and cost him his lucrative house leadership role.
The Standard reports this Thursday that at least 100 youths have promised to support and even campaign for BBI in the Mt Kenya regiom.
It has now emerged that those who were against it had not seen the document.
