Rift Valley politics is yet again taking another twist as 2022 politics. As Jubilee continues to dissociate itself from the deputy president and his allies. They sort refuge from the UDA party. The Valley has a new party that is believed to be where most politicians are heading.
Former KANU loyalist Damaris Too through her Facebook page announced that she will be launching a new party on 10th June. Before even its official launch many politicians have reached out to her seeking positions and party tickets.
It's believed that the new party will be a new home for most Rift Valley political bigwigs now that there's unease in UDA and the other region's parties have no national vigor. Her former home KANU has allied with ANC, Ford Kenya, and Kalonzo Musyoka's Wyper party.
Damaris Too was a great asset to the KANU party, her experience on political matters has seen many seek positions in her new party.
"I have received calls from Governors...MPs, And some people... Some want direct nomination... Some say they want to be SG...," she revealed.
The formation of the new party in the rift will complicate the dominance of UDA which had grown roots in the region. The new party will be preferred by many since it originates from the region .
