A section of Deputy President William Ruto's allies have arrived at his Karen office in Nairobi ahead of the much-awaited unveiling of his running mate.
From the photos shared online, Ruto's allies could be seen sharing light moments ahead of the big day.

Among those who have already arrived include Nandi Governor Stephen Sang, Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi, Salim Mvurya of Kwale, Elgeyo Marakwet Deputy Governor Wisley Rotich, MPs Aden Duale, Caleb Kositany, Nixon Korir Maryanne Keitany Didmus Barasa among other leaders.

However, those leaders who had been fronted as the most likely running mates were nowhere to be seen. They were, however, reportedly holed up in a meeting with the DP within Karen premises before they could accompany the nominee together with Ruto for a press conference.
Among those who have been placed at the top most position to be picked included Kithure Kindiki, Rigathi Gachagua, Anne Waiguru and Speaker Justin Muturi
