In the wake of a controversial start of the week for the Deputy President William Samoei Ruto, he has decided to schedule a broadcast media interview, which will hopefully be the platform for him to address several arising issues.

Taking to his social media pages, Dennis Ole Itumbi, who is a communications strategist allied closely to the DP, has revealed that Ruto will be on Inooro TV tomorrow morning, "DP William Ruto will be on Inooro breakfast show with Jeff Kuria and Nyoxx, Time: 7-9am, Date: Wednesday, 4th August, 2021."

Among the things that the DP will most likely address is his botched trip to Uganda, which was controversially blocked by the state. Media reports have linked the move to the presence of a Turkish national, who is allegedly linked to terrorism related activities, in Ruto's entourage.
The highly anticipated interview will be the first time that Ruto speaks vocally since the incident.
