According to the news which was shared on the social media platforms, the crowd went wild after the deputy president William Ruto and his team led by Hon Rigathi Gachagua arrived at Muthithi Town. The crowd started chanting the deputy president William Ruto's name. Ruto on his speech urged the residents to maintain peace among each other so that we can have a peaceful election on 9th August this year.
He continued by encouraging the leaders from Murang'a county to work together so that they can have one agenda of transforming our country. The leaders who accompanied Ruto includes the Amani National Congress party leader Hon Musalia Mudavadi, Ford Kenya party leader Hon Moses Wetangula, Gatundu south member of parliament Hon Moses Kuria among other leaders. Remember to maintain peace among each other during this time of campaign.
