Deputy President William Ruto's point man Boni Khalwale has spelled a warning on Amani National Congress Party leader Musalia Mudavadi, telling him how it will end if he believes that he will be endorsed by Uhuru Kenyatta.
Former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale who said this on social media, recounted on 2013 elections where all the expectations from his community were for the former president Mwai Kibaki, to endorse Musalia Mudavadi for Presidency.
According to Khalwale, no one believed that Musalia wasn't the one to be endorsed. However, as the elections were nearing, no one ever endorsed him. Kibaki however, kept quiet.
"Ten years ago, I was right at the center of a community storm when all indications were that Kibaki would endorse @MusaliaMudavadi for the presidency. It ended up in premium tears. Matters have gone full cycle & now they want us to believe that Uhuru will endorse Mudavadi," Khalwale said.
According to the rumour going round that the best choice for President Uhuru Kenyatta, will be Musalia Mudavadi, Khalwale told Musalia to be cautious lest it end in premium tears.
This is a clear indication that Khalwale does not believe in Uhuru Kenyatta supporting a leader from Luhyia land.
Equally, this has come as a result of complaints that had been raised by some ODM members, saying Uhuru's people are sabotaging the Handshake.
Some went as far as saying that Uhuru had plans of betraying Raila Odinga as he did to the Deputy President Uhuru. While others said that Uhuru cannot afford to betray the two veteran leaders.
ODM supporters too, started saying that "wheelbarrows should carry oranges''. This meant that there was a possibility of Raila working together with Ruto one more time.
It has not been identified by the president Uhuru Kenyatta on who he will push forward succeed in his throne. However, there are a lot of speculations concerning the same.
