President Uhuru's move to counter Deputy President William Ruto's growing influence in the Mt Kenya region has been revealed as new details emerge plans of a mega rally that will be happening very soon.
As the Second in Command is pushing to stabilize his support ground in Mt Kenya, fresh details have emerged of a new force on the baking and whose agenda is to ensure they clip DP Ruto's wings ahead of 2022.
It has been established that President Uhuru is living with anger following the Tangatanga team a group of legislators led by DP Ruto to block the Building Bridges Initiative and that he is not willing any time soon to forgive him for failing to support him.
Nyeri Town MP Hon Ngunjiri Wambugu a close ally to the president has said "We were with the President somewhere and he said that he finds it hard to forgive some people because of the route that they took us through (lead to the fall of BBI)....."
Adding that "since he cannot go to that length of bringing together Raila Odinga, Musalia Mudavadi, Kalonzo Musyoka, Moses Wetangula, and Gideon Moi on the table, then the person who is supposed to be his assistant, with the backing of Moses (Kuria) and other leaders from our region decided to fight the proposals."
One of President Uhuru's confidants has said that although President Uhuru is now focusing to shape his legacy "He has, however, taken a position that before he leaves office, he will tour his backyard to inform the people of the good things he had prepared for them through BBI, how they were lost and who was responsible."
