ANC through the Secretary General Simon Gikuru has repsonded to the alleged power sharing deal stating that there are still consultations between the more than 10 principals that constitute the alliance top organ.

The Mudavadi led party has stated that Kenya Kwanza will unveil the leadership agreement and line-up at an appropriate time.

"We advise The Star Newspaper to stop peddling unfounded, sensational and speculative journalism. Headlines meant to divert our attention will not derail our resolve as founding members of Kenya Kwanza to push the economy agenda," read part of the statement.

The party has alleged use of the media by opponents to sell propaganda and to mislead their supporters to turn against the ANC party leadership, mostly in the Western region.
