PHOTOS: Retired President Uhuru Steps Out at Safari Park Hotel as He Gives Update on Peace Talks

Former President Uhuru Kenyatta has been conducting the peace talks for the Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo for the past few days now.

The Retired President has been urging all sides to consider the importance of peace in the area and lay down their arms and find a lasting solution to the problem.

The Former President was seen at Safari Park earlier on today where he was looking very presidential as per the photos that we have from the venue.

The information has been communicated through his new Official Social Media Handle where he has given the progress of the ongoing talks at the venue.

Here is a statement from Former President Uhuru Kenyatta, "Rtd President Uhuru Kenyatta, who is the Facilitator of the East African Community led Nairobi Peace Process has urged the various participants at the Third Inter-Congolese dialogue process, to work towards finding a lasting solution to the disputes in the Eastern DRC.

Retired President Uhuru, has exuded confidence in the ongoing process which has brought together civil society groups, religious as well as community leaders from the different parts of the Eastern DRC including Ituri, North Kivu, South Kivu, Goma, Maniema and many more."
