Although the agenda or what they discussed during the meeting has remained confidential,it has raised alot of questions of why he was the second person to meet the president after president Uhuru Kenyatta.

Raila met him just after he had come from another bilateral talk with Uhuru at the statehouse where the agreed on strengthening diplomatic relations between Kenya and Malawi.

The two heads of state ushered in a new dawn in their bilateral relations by signing eight new agreements designed to strengthen socioeconomic bonds between the two nations.
