Tangatanga members have gone through a lot. Leaders allied to DP Ruto have been purged from powerful and lucrative leadership positions. This after they have been accused of being disloyal to the party leader Honourable Uhuru Kenyatta. They ware warned for starting early political campaigns. However, president Uhuru Kenyatta's warnings were not followed. They went on to discredit the party leader.
Yesterday Jubilee Party expelled six nominated Senators. They included Senator Millicent Omanga, Senator Mwaura among others. Jubilee's decision was effective immediately. However, the affected leaders went to Political Party Tribunal that gave orders that suspended Jubilee Party's decision to expell the said leaders.
According to blogger Donald Kipkorir, the decision of Political Party Tribunal should not be follow. He said that the Tribunal acted outside it's jurisdictions. "... Jubilee and the Senate Speaker should ignore the Tribunal Orders...it does not have jurisdictions to do so, the order is void..." Donald Kipkorir wrote in his Twitter account
