Wamalwa's DAP Asks Tough Questions As KPLC Announces Nationwide Power Outage

The Kenya Power and lighting Company on Saturday 5th March 2023 announced Nationwide Power Outage which they blamed on system disturbance. The giant power distributor however assured Kenyans that they were handling the fault to ensure that normalcy resumes.

The announcement by the power distributor did not however go well with majority of Kenyans who felt that there are games being played.

It also attracted the attention of former Defence Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa's Democratic Action party.

Taking to their official Social media pages, the party claimed that the Kenya Kwanza Alliance government is currently facing challenges that is why even the country is experiencing things like power Outage.

The party wondered who will be blamed by Ruto's team considering that in the past they blamed everything on politics. The party further wondered who could be the main shareholder of the giant power distributor.

The former Defence Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa's party claimed that the Kenya Kwanza Alliance campaigned on blackmail as they accused the former regime of mismanagement.

"They campaigned on a platform of blackmail and lies now they want to hold on to excuses when faced with Leadership challenges." Wamalwa's party posted on official social media pages.

"The nationwide blackout by KPLC would be blamed on politics, so now that we have it whom will they blame? Who is the biggest shareholder?" The party added.

The party is a member of the Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya Coalition Party which has been attacking President Wiliam Ruto's government. The party leader Eugene Wamalwa himself has been actively participating in the protests rallies against the government which they have repeatedly described as illegitimate.
