Deputy President William Ruto has reported that trying to think that the Government will achieve its four big agendas before the upcoming 2022 will be like chasing the wind or doing fishing on dry land.
As quoted by the standard, William Ruto has today delivered bitter truth to Kenyans telling them that the Building Bridges Initiative has hijacked and overturned the Government's priorities. He has for instance reported that a lot of money is being used to conduct the referendum, something that was not budgeting for during Jubilee's manifestos in 2017 and 2013.
“We have laid the foundation for infrastructures such as electricity connection and tarmacking of roads among others. However, the vision is being delayed by the BBI. But after the exercise, we shall revert to the core agenda. After the expiry of Uhuru’s term, I’m the best-placed person to ensure continuity,” Ruto said.
Deputy William Ruto has also removed his gloves after revealing that President Uhuru Kenyatta has been misled by his inner circle and for this reason, one will be forgiven for thinking that the Jubilee Government will manage to deliver its promises to Kenyans. Though he hasn't mentioned the exact names, DP Ruto has scolded Murathe, describing him as a person who has and will continue to misguided the Head of state.
“Some of the people who are not happy with my visits to this region are not even elected leaders. They must understand that I’m on duty whenever they see me traversing the country,” Ruto said.
