Governor Mutahi Kahiga has been summoned over a statement he made few moments after the death of the late governor. In his post, Kihiga had claimed that he had warned the the then governor over the use of the vehicle that led to his death over mechanical problems.
Governor Wahome Gakuru died through road accident few months after the 2017 general election where his deputy governor Mutahi Kahiga took over as Nyeri county governor.
The summoning of these leaders comes when the political temperature of this country has been increasing with the tangatanga led team accusing the government of Uhuru Kenyatta of frustrations, among other key issues.
