Today has been a big day for major politicians as Jubilee and Orange Democratic Movement parties held their National Delegates Convention meetings. Surprisingly, in Jubilee NDC, where Raila, Kalonzo and Gideon Moi were present after agreeing to a coalition, NARC Kenya party leader Martha Karua was absent. After making it public to be in agreement with One Kenya Alliance, it was thought that she would also welcome the idea of joining Azimio movement.
However, since OKA principals started having talks to join forces with Raila and the president, she has been missing in action. It has beeb known for a long time that the law maker has been in disapproval of how the president is handling things, especially now that he is supposed to retire after August 9 polls. However, it has become clear that the president wants to retain power by endorsing Raila.
Karua may be looking for other options after Gideon Moi and Kalonzo joined Raila. However, she already made it perfectly clear that she will not be in coalition with Dp Ruto.
