Kabando Wa Kabando expressed his disappointment over President Ruto's latest promise to reduce the price of cooking gas by 6kg at Ksh300.
"We have yet to see any of the other promises he made, like free secondary education and unga for ugali at sh70, materialise, let alone this latest one. It won't happen, " Kabando Wa Kabando declared.
He suggested that the President stop promising what he knows won't come true and instead take responsibility for his actions and honour his prior promises. He also proposed alternative solutions for people to access cheaper gas.
"I think what the president should do instead is create subsidies to encourage local gas vendors to lower their prices or even promote renewable energy alternatives for people," Kabando Wa Kabando concluded.
Kabando asked President Ruto to explain how these new plans will be made possible and called on the public to remain skeptical until any further action is seen.
