Ann Waiguru's New Political Move, Gives The Reason Why She Wants To Change The Political Parties

The Kirinyaga Governor, Ann Waiguru says she is considering changing the political parties in the run-up race to the 2022 General Election.

Waiguru announced that she will be defending her seat come 2022. In the last week, she hinted that she will be running on a United Democratic Alliance (UDA) ticket,a party associated with Deputy President William Ruto.

While talking at Thiba in Mwea, she said that the electorate will direct her on which party to run on.

Furthermore, on Tuesday, during a Women In Politics media commitment online class for writers from Central Kenya, the representative mentioned that her transition to change ideological groups is strategic, seeing that it would make it simpler for her to hold the seat.

Waiguru now has said that looking for re-appointment on a party that is disliked by Kenyans would drive her to spend twice or thrice the measure of cash her adversaries in district well disposed ideological groups will.

"I'm not sure why I should try going through all the cash realizing that I am in a party that can't take me anyplace," she said.

Should the lead representative at last leap to UDA, she will confront her political adversary, the current Kirinyaga Woman Representative Wangui Ngirici, for the party ticket in the primaries.
