Nairobi Count ODM Senatorial candidate has been held a little blow after his viral post on twitter got flagged by the platform.
Twitter, an ever busy social Media site has flagged Edwin Sifuna's Provisional Presidential Results posted on the ODM Secretary General's timeline earlier today. In a post supported by a table, Sifuna indicated that Raila was leading William Ruto with over 700 thousand votes, translating to about 51.96% with Ruto having 47.28%. this information was however not verified by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) leading to it being dismissed by a number of leaders and voters especially those allied to Deputy President William Ruto.

As a result of Edwin Sifuna's claim and results not being confirmed by IEBC, Twitter has flagged the post, cautioning Kenyans against it. According to the Social Media site, the IEBC had not called the election results, implying that Kenyans should not believe in the post. Below is the warning from Twitter, just below Edwin Sifuna's post.
The IEBC had allowed Kenyans to access uploaded forms 34A from their portal as a way of ensuring transparency. Fortunately or unfortunately, this move has seen many individuals and media organisations come up with a couple parallel tallying points and centres. The end game seems to have become provision of clashing tallies, which again has widely been linked to tallying of different polling stations at different times.
