The likes of Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui and Meru Governor Kiraitu Murungi have face strong criticism from deputy president William Ruto's camp because they have declared their interest to vote Raila Odinga come 2022.
According to Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui most of Mt Kenya Governors have opted to support Raila Odinga's big to the state house because of his message of peace to unite the country. Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui said that Raila Odinga deployed handshake as a tool to move Kenya into the right direction.
Governor Lee Kinyanjui further added that Raila Odinga shook hands with Former president Arap Moi, he also made peace with Kabaki and now President Uhuru Kenyatta all in the interest of peace.
Governor Lee Kinyanjui further noted that Raila Odinga brings with him political reforms that is why most of the Mt Kenya Governors have chosen to associate with him.
