Kikuyu Council of Elders have finally reacted after Deputy President William Ruto and his allies attacked President Uhuru Kenyatta and his family during their rally in Kiambu county few days ago.

They were speaking at their office, led by Wachira wa Kiago and Ndung’u Gaithuma (Kiama Kiama) where they claimed that the second in command is too ambitious in his presidential bid.
Kiago who is the chairman of the Kikuyu council of elders said that the DP's ambition for power is worrying and he risks being cursed if he continues attacking the head of state and his mother (the country's founding first lady) Mama Ngina Kenyatta.
Also during the presser they said that they'll continue to back H.E Uhuru Kenyatta and that Kenyans should not incite each other.
This comes after Deputy President Ruto continued his scathing attack on President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga in Kiambu region.
