
Today, Azimio presidential candidate Raila Amollo Odinga has nominated Narc Kenya party leader Martha Karua as his running mate. Odinga has unveiled Karua today at KICC in Nairobi county.
This comes when the deadline set aside by Iebc is today midnight. After the nomination of Karua, mixed reactions have been ignited across the country as some have supported the move made by Odinga for considering a woman as his running mate.
Hours after Karua's nomination, United Democratic Alliance aspirants have congratulated the move.

The former Law Society of Kenya president Nelson Havi who is vying for Westlands member of parliament seat on UDA ticket has congratulated the nomination of Karua.

On the other side, nominated senator Millicent Omanga has also congratulated the nomination of Karua describing her as courageous, impressive and colourful woman. However, Omanga who is eying Nairobi women representative seat has drummed support for Kenya Kwanza of William Ruto and Rigathi Gachagua as the best to form the next government.
