Makueni County gubernatorial hopeful Senator Mutula Kilonzo Jnr has today unveiled his running mate for the August 9th general elections. Mutula who is keen to succeed current Governor Hon Kivutha Kibwana who is serving his second term settled on Lucy Mulili as his nominee for the lucrative county post.
Lucy has worked as a government administrator in various ranks for over 23 years. According to a post on his social media page, Mutula stated that his pick rose from being a District Officer to the position of County Commissioner in three counties. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Egerton University.
Mutula Kilonzo who is interested in the seat on a Wiper Democratic Movement ticket will now be banking on her to ensure that they garner enough votes that will guarantee them a win come August 9th Polls. He will br facing two-term Kibwezi MP Patrick Musimba, County Minister for Devolution Joshua Wambua, Minister for Gender Bob Kisyula and businessman David Masika.
