On Thursday, Sep 23, ruling at high court, Justice Anthony Mrima argued appointment of Badi was not approved by the National assembly.
The petition was filed before Milimani Law Court on Tuesday, September 15, 2020.
Justice Badi further, ruled him [Mohammed Badi] is illegally possessing the position of Director general and by extension, sitting at cabinets
“There there is no doubt the appointment of Badi into the Cabinet was not approved by the National Assembly. As such, it is unclear as to by whom and how Badi will be oversighted. His term of office in the Cabinet also remains an illusion,” said the judge, as learnt by Tuko News.
However, the deputy President William Ruto's Political camp has pick the news with excitement congratulating the petitioner, Alice Wahome.
