Goodbye UDA: Blow to Ruto After Four Leaders Allied To His Camp Move To Support Azimio

It's now official that the August 9 general election has been left between the second in command and the former prime minister Raila Odinga.

In both alliances, it is a season of building strong pillars as the Deputy President William Ruto is the latest leader to be dealt a huge blow after four gubernatorial aspirant allied to Kenya Kwanza forum have ditched his manifesto and declared their support towards the former prime minister Raila Odinga manifesto.

According to Saturday standard, Julien Kichwen, Kipkoech arap Mutai, Terasa Metto, and Philomen Singoei have publicly declared that they will back George Natembeya bid to be the next Trans Nzoia governor.

Sources: Saturday Standard news paper page 5.

"We had agreed with Wamalwa to give the community the mandate to pick a running mate but he went ahead to handpick Kirior. We have been patiently waiting for him to change the selection he made but it is getting too late and the people of Trans Nzoia need justice to be done." said Metto as they joined Natembeya camp.
