Deputy President William Ruto missed out this state function. He has not been attending several events alongside his boss, President Kenyatta. This has been attributed to the deteriorating relationship between the two.

The information has been Revealed by Kieleweke Blogger Wahome Thuku. Mr Thuku hints that the Legislators will be discussing about the 2022 positions. "They want to secure the Deputy President's post for one of them as well as one of the Deputy Prime Minister's position. Sources has it that this is their irreducible Minimum or less they walk out of Tangatanga."
This comes a few days after the Mps maintained that the second in Command should give clear Communication before seeking Support for Presidential bid. They have a believe that it's time Political negotiations start after economic and development issues have been ironed out.
Ruto enjoys massive Support of 62 Mps from Central Kenya. He is determined to succeed President Kenyatta in August 2022 Elections. He is currently shopping for his running mate with possible picks from either western or Central Kenya.
