Political analyst Professor Herman Manyora has rubbished off Roots Party presidential candidate professor George Wajackoya. This is after a question on whether he is able to force a run off going by his ever growing popularity. Manyora has argued that despite having brought excitement, Wajackoya cannot force the run off since the excitement about him won't necessarily turn into votes.
Wajackoya has become more popular because of his manifesto. Where he has promised to introduce farming of Cannabis sativa albeit for medicinal purposes. He has said that the plant will be exported to other countries and even calculated the amount of revenue that the country would gain from it. He has also talked about snake rearing.
Manyora opines that he might follow the likes of Peter Kenneth in 2013 and Abduba Dida in 2017. These were presidential candidates who got all the hype but still didn't make it past 100,000 votes of the national tally.Manyora spoke to Trevor Ombija.
