Why William Ruto Might win 2022 Elections If His Competitors Are Still Reluctant.

Summary:

- Ahead of 2013 general elections Hon. Uhuru Kenyatta and Hon. William Ruto turned their arraignments at the KCC into a anti-impentest platform and gave other opponents a run for their money.

- Currently, whoever President Uhuru Kenyatta will endorse and support in coming elections would likely split Jubilee party even further. The expected coalition between the ruling party and ODM will take time to cobble together.

Kenyans like a fighter and unshakable person, the person who stand up to great odds is often a hero, regardless of what the fight is about.

Unlike Kalonzo, Mudavadi, Wentagula and Gideon Moi who are never known for a fight hardly stir public emotions and attention.

Here are the ten reasons why DP Ruto will be the fifth President of Kenya.

1. UHURU BETRAYAL.

Ruto puts his head high despite open betrayal by his Boss, whom has kicked him out of the government and the rulling party hounding some of his allies out of parliamentary leadership and targeting some of them selectively war on grafts. Ruto's refusal to buckle under pressure will serve him well.

2. GOD FEARING AND CLOSE TO CHURCH.

Ruto is an evangelical Christian who never misses church fellowships each Sunday. It makes a strategic sense that he has focused his phylantropy on raising funds in church to support God's work.delegations of church leaders troop to his Karen and Sugoi homes and even invite him in churches for the service. Kenya is a majority christian nation and the church has massive political influence.

3. NOT ANOTHER KIKUYU FOR PRESIDENCY.

Kenya had been ruled by three kikiyus so far two of them father and son.Uhuru promised Kenyans he will support Ruto to succeed him.Jomo Kenyatta and Mwai Kibaki betrayed allies who backed them to get state power,Ruto could benefit from KIKUYU hoi polloi who refused to be branded as betrayers once again.

4.CORRUPTION ALLEGATIONS.

Ruto has turned the war on corruption against Uhuru, people may think Uhuru is so rich that he can't involve him self in such case but that isn't the case. If Ruto would be corrupt he would have been accused, but it's clear during Ruto's security men saga Cs Matiangi identifies Ruto's source of income in parliament. Corruption accusations can stop one from being elected in Kenya as seen in Hon. Anne Waiguru. Graft is allowed as " working smart"

5. HUSTLER MOVEMENT/NATION.

Jubilee promised Kenyans youth heaven by creating more job opportunities Less have been done of this, Ruto has distanced himself from the government and resorted to using his money to help jobless youths and hustlers this contrasts with 'dynasties' who are disconnected from sufferings of Kenyans as they cut backroom deals to retain in power and accumulate more.Ruto came in with bottom up economy revival system to rise a poor Kenyan to be higher, this will revive economy faster through taxes.

6. RAILA BETRAYAL OF SUPPORTERS.

The handshake killed the Raila brand, after 2017 elections boycotting making some in millions of his supporters to lose their lives and later paredding their bodies.later on he shook hands with Uhuru, this was a painful betrayal to his millions supporters and demobilised his support base except the 'cows' Ruto is trying to capitalize on Raila's 'disgruntled supporters'

7. REFERENDUM IS UNPOPULAR AND DEAD.

The prevailing views seems to be a referendum was not what the country need expencially during the pandemic.and many believes that the Change of constitution through BBI was not for the common good of all Kenyans but to benefit only few state leaders and kick out Ruto.like what happened in 2005 Ruto is busy turning the referendum between Uhuru and Raila.

8. JUBILEE IS DEAD AND UNPOPULAR.

Whoever Uhuru will support in coming Elections through expected coalition between Jubilee and ODM (and any other parties) will split Jubilee even further as many allies will run to support hustlers movement, by the time their endorsed and compromise candidate will hit the ground Ruto would already be more miles ahead.furthermore, Ruto's allies expencially in national assembly are many compared to those of Jubilee and UDA as a party has long roots in all parts of the country unlike other parties like ANC,FORDKENYA among others.

9.RUTO STARTED EARLY

As proverb states" early bird catches the worm" Ruto has been a presidential candidate for the last seven years. Other politicians have declared their intentions to run like Kalonzo, Mudavadi, Mutua,Joho, Wanjigi, Mwangi wa Iria among others but pose no serious challenge against Ruto.Raila whom Uhuru is expected to back following the handshake has not yet declared if he will run, that makes Ruto the frontrunner and the only Horse in the coming Elections, as seen during by-elections polls held previously in different parts, Even in Uhuru's own camp in kiambu UDA winning the polls.

10. INCUMBENCY ADVANTAGE.

Despite being isolated by his Boss, Ruto is the second in command and highest-placed in the government unlike his mostly lacklustre competitors. He enjoys the trapping of power and privileges of incumbency. He knows how the deep state and system works and he will likely use that knowledge to great political advantage.
