The two leading candidates, former prime minister Raila Omolo Odinga and Deputy President Dr William Samoei Ruto, are currently neck-and-neck in the polls, as seen by KTN TV news, with DP Ruto slightly in the lead.
KTN News reports that the Deputy President is in the lead with 6,095,103 votes or 49.75 per cent of the total votes, and the leader of the ODM party is close behind with 5,985,551 votes or 48.86 per cent of the total votes. The competition between the two is close.
