The general elections have been scheduled for August next year but we have already started witnessing a lot of activities in our political arena. Defections have been the order of the day, political leaders have been shifting their loyalty from one party to another and we expect even more of this.
Former Party Leader of the Economic Freedom Party Hassan Noor Hassan who is the current CAS of the ministry of education and the Mandera County Woman Rep Amina Gedow today ditched their party to join the ODM party. Mr. Noor will now vie for the Governorship of Mandera on the party ticket.

Another leader that also joined the party today is former CEO of EACC Halakhe Waqo. The three and other residents of North Eastern were hosted by Raila at Orange Democratic Party Headquarters in Nairobi.
