Raila Odinga And His Legal Team Argument On IEBC Quorum During BBI Comes Back To Haunt Him

During the BBI case, the petitioner argued that IEBC had no quorum to verify the signatures and to even hold the referendum if they could be any need to do so.At that time IEBC had three commissioners less by four commissioners.

So according to the court from the high court, court of appeal and supreme court they agreed with the BBI legal team that IEBC had a quorum to verify the signatures that Kenyans signed to accept BBI.So the respondents who were (Raila Odinga,Uhuru Kenyatta and IEBC) won the case.

Months later IEBC which now has the whole quorum.Upon releasing the presidential results, the four of the seven IEBC commissioners have distanced themselves from the results. That means only three commissioners are remaining.

Raila Odinga has rejected the results and is heading to court.Among the issue is IEBC had no quorum and that results read by Chebukati were his own results. All eyes are on the supreme court to see how they are ruling on this case.
