It is believed that Raila Odinga will be vying for the presidency for the 5th time in 2022 even though other leaders within the ODM party have stated that they will seek to be its flag bearer and Raila should be prepared for a nomination contest.
A close and admirer of the Deputy President, Senior Counsel Ahmednassir Abdullahi has decided to offer a piece of advice to ODM members on their best chance to govern the country. According to AA, Jimmy Wanjigi a famous financier of the ODM in the last elections, should be given the chance to run for Presidency with the party. This is because the party needs a new vibrant and exciting person.
A close ally of Raila, Lawyer Donald Kipkorir differed with AA's sentiments and told him that if Wanjigi is his project and confident of his victory, then he hence should probably be allowed to contest in his alleged party of UDA.
Ahmednassir later asked if ODM and especially Raila is willing to refund Wanjigi's 1.5 billion he invested in them but Don didn't answer directly.
