Kenyan Ambassador Monica Juma has expressed her gratitude to Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi following a high profile meeting held at the National Treasury today.
The meeting was attended by a team from the Office of the National Security (ONSA), of which Ambassador Juma is the head. Ambassador Juma thanked Prime CS Mudavadi for his guidance on the anchoring mandate of ONSA and for receiving the ONSA team at his office.
The meeting comes in the wake of the announcement of the formation of the Office of the National Security. The office will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring the security sector of the country, providing strategic advice and direction to the government, and advising the Cabinet Secretary on security-related matters.
Ambassador Juma expressed her commitment to working closely with Prime Cabinet Secretary Mudavadi and other government officials in order to ensure the security of the nation.
She also emphasized the importance of collaboration between different government departments in order to effectively tackle security concerns facing the country.
The meeting between Ambassador Juma and Prime Cabinet Secretary Mudavadi is the latest in a series of engagements between the two as the Office of the National Security moves to operationalize its mandate.
