The country is currently in campaign mode ahead of 2022 general elections, with most politicians looking for ways to popularise their candidature.They are also going to different regions to garner support.
Currently there are two presidential candidates who are leading and look like one might become the president next year. The two are deputy president William Samoei Ruto and former prime minister Raila Amolo Odinga.
While the deputy president is coming up with Bottom Up economy initiative, former prime minister Raila has come up the 'Azimio la Umoja' across the country.The former premier is also promising unemployed citizens of this country 6k if he ascends to power.
Most critics are doubting if the that figure could materialize even if Raila were to ascend to power but here is a reason to believe the 6k will could be a reality;
The former premier has in the past promised thing which came true
1.Together with president kibaki, they promised and introduced free primary and secondary education and they fulfilled and its there even in present day.
2.They also promised and introduced money for the elderly which has helped the elderly people and has been there and is even in the Uhuru Kenyatta's government.
