Kenyans and especially those from Machakos County have again today been sent into deep mourning after the sudden death of the former Machakos Town Constituency Member of Parliament Hon. Onesmus Mwanza Kikuyu.
According to source's, Hon. Mwanza Kikuyu who served the people of Machakos Town from 1997 - 2002 as their MP was today morning promoted to Glory after fighting an illness for sometime. This sad report has been confirmed by the current MP for Machakos Town Hon. Victor Munyaka.
Mourning the sudden demise of his area former MP, Victor Munyaka has described Onesmus Kikuyu as a dedicated leader who changed the status of Machakos through developments and served his people with zeal and passion.
On his behalf and that of the people of Machakos Town, Munyaka has extended heartfelt condolences to the families and friends of the bereaved and prays that God grant peace and strength during this hard moments.
"Machakos town Constituency will miss this hero of development. I take this opportunity on my behalf and that of my family and Machakos Town Constituency people to send my heartfelt condolences to the family and friends. May God grant the family peace during this trying moments," Munyaka's statement Reads.
